We’re excited to announce the first set of brand partnerships for Pokatok 2024: US Soccer Foundation, PlayFly Esports and Dryvebox.
“Since we announced our vision for the Sports World’s Fair, we’ve been overwhelmed by the interest and enthusiasm for what we are building here,” said Lawson Gow, Founder of Pokatok.
“We can’t wait to continue to announce additional brand partners along with keynote speakers, panel discussions, pitch competitions, product launches, and networking opportunities for the sports industry in the coming weeks and months. If you love sports, you need to be in Houston next April.”
Under the deal, the U.S. Soccer Foundation will work with Pokatok to establish compelling content, speaking and programming opportunities, in addition to developing playable soccer surfaces for fans in their efforts to continue to give back to the soccer community in Houston and beyond.
“The goal of the U.S. Soccer Foundation is to help improve the health and well-being of youth in the communities in which we serve,” said Ed Foster-Simeon, President & CEO of the U.S. Soccer Foundation. “The Pokatok festival will provide a unique opportunity to showcase our impact and engage new supporters of the U.S. Soccer Foundation during this critical growth phase of the game.”

Playfly Esports, an industry-leading media and advertising organization connecting brands with esports fans, will similarly hold a strong presence at Pokatok, showcasing regional and national collegiate esports athletes through competitions between schools and conferences on the mainstage of the expo.
“Innovation is one of our core values at Playfly, so partnering with Pokatok and being at the nexus of legacy, emerging sports and technology is just a natural fit,” said Charles O’Donnell, VP of Esports at Playfly.

Dryvebox, an innovative mobile golf simulator company, with the mission to “cultivate golf everywhere,” will have several of its boxes (mobile golf simulators) at Pokatok featuring a 19th hole experience including a hole-in-one and long drive challenge for those in attendance.
“Pokatok is shaping up to be the premier event for sports business by bringing together thousands of people who love sports and innovation, and with Dryvebox changing the way golf is played, we couldn’t miss an event like this,” said Adeel Yang, Co-Founder & CEO fo Dryvebox.
“We’re excited about the impact of putting all these like-minded people together and seeing the increase in innovation velocity from the combination of the latest sports technology and the sharing of ideas in one event. We look forward to everyone stopping by the Dryvebox section, having a good time, and experiencing how we’re bringing golf everywhere.”
